If you swung by any of our Treetops Adventure parks on the weekend of the 18th and 19th of June, you would have seen a few more special characters, than just our regular Tree Team.
There was Thor gracing the paths of Lane Poole Reserve, Superman flying through Western Sydney Parklands, Robin and his trusty sidekick at Glen Harrow Gardens, and Bat Girl wandering past the Shoalhaven Zoo. You might have even seen a Minion or two at Hollybank Wilderness Reserve!
So why did the superheroes come out to play at Treetops Adventure?
For Hero4HeartKids Weekend of course!
We, at Treetops Adventure, were so proud to partner with HeartKids for another year to help raise awareness & funds to support our local heroes – the children & families impacted by childhood heart disease.
Childhood Heart Disease (CHD) is a lifelong condition and there is currently no known cure.
Sometimes, real superheroes live in the hearts of small children, fighting big battles.
We wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who came for a climb and who dressed up to support HeartKids! We had 3,576 participants attend over 2 days, across 13 different parks nationwide, and raised over $7,000 for HeartKids!
If you missed out this year, don’t worry – we’ll be running the same event next year!
In the meantime, you can donate to HeartKids today!
